Wrong, there are so many ABCERS because UNC only accepts a certain number of applications every year.

That's why state colege, Faye State, Western Carolina and UNC Pembroke exist...to handle the "embittered overflow."

Glad I could correct this for "EWE".

State has class and that's why there will never be any ill-will between Duke and State. Both programs handle winning and losing with a certain amount of respect and integrity.

UNC is not in the same boat, which is why there are so many ABCers (even App, ECU, wake fans, etc)

NC State should look into the openings Conference USA will have next year since they will finish in double digits in the ACC in football and basketball this year and years to come. They could be competative in Conference USA and maybe finish fourth.

"The Jerk with the head band was about to get his tail whooped if he stood up one more time! Police had to come and escort him away! He told me to shut the f... Up and sit down, but he didn't want to stand up and put me down! Go figure ! But it was a hell of a game!!"

This was from one of my FB friends a Duke fan, during the game... He sent a pic but i cant link it here.

Perhaps if 903 ever attends a game he might actually know what he`s talking about.

sorry you experienced that...unfortunately the random jack wagon will always look to start some kind of nonsense with the opposing fan base.

i actually saw a lot of hand shaking and congrats being passed after the state-unc game a few weeks ago. of course, i sit on the towers side and the avg age of spectators there seems to be higher than the other side where the students are. i did see three unc fans get escorted out but that was because they were sitting in the wrong seats.

The last UNC-State game I went to at carter Finley, I was threatened by a State fan with an empty JD bottle. The last UNC-Duke game I went to at WW, some DS Duke fan with a BIG holstered knife was running around the stands talking trash (poor security over there, I guess). I have seen some idjt UNC fans as well. The point is, in this case, that every school has its idjts, and we shouldn't judge the entire fan base by them. That would be like ... well, judging the entire Duke and NCSU fan bases by 903 and li'l sacky.

The could have cussed at 903, thrown things at him or even urinated on him and he would have still made the same statement. Everything he says and does revolves around Carolina. A controlled tool..........love it!

I watched the game yesterday and did anyone else notice that the stands looked like they had been filled by the Geek Squad from Circuit City/Best Buy? LOLOLOL! Definitely not your cameron crazies. They all did wave their little pom poms a lot though!

He doesn't go to football games. He listens to Bob Harris on the radio and envisions "those meanies" from UNC trashing the stadium and fans, shooting guns, urinating in the aisles, etc. etc.

This fabrication plays REALLY WELL with other dookies who never go to the games, like those from Tarboro, etc..

  • 1993 Tarheel Nov 10, 2013

Leave it to one of the worst dook fan's to start a thread about a dook/state game and yet UNC is the central topic. It never get's old how much some dook fan's live just to hate UNC....but that's what the best always get.

I read his post and was about to make same comment, nothing like a fabrication
of a duke/Carolina game. Ive been to alot of duke/Carolina football games and have not seen one incident of a problem between them... Some friendly trash talking and
    a good game afterwards.

i'm glad there weren't any issues with d baggery at the game. the state fans in attendance were likely not getting too excited because they knew what was coming...and it did. i knew this season would be a throwaway but i honestly didn't think it would be this bad. oh well, injuries + horrible qb's + coaching decisions driven by desperation = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtmI--F8Zmo.

good luck to duke in the bowl game...it's hard not to root for them when they play anyone other than state.

Even when State took the lead tonight, the State fans sitting near us were very respectful and didn't try to do anything to stir up trouble. No boasting or trash talking in the rows immediately around me. And unlike when UNC comes over, not one fight broke out.

Just a very competitive game back and forth tonight that unfortunately was full of turnovers and Duke managed to capitalize on them a little bit more than State.

I'm sure it feels like rock bottom losing to UNC and Duke back-to-back weekends but I'm sure they'll turn things around in the near future.
