Doeren names Brisett starter, before the first bowl game is played
Mr. Hans Dec 10, 4:55 p.m.
Yeah, but it's kind of the only team you can think of PERIOD, isn't it?
Mr. Hans Dec 10, 4:54 p.m.
You've obviously not perused Whack Pride. The hype is building - talk of an 8 win season, mentions of Auburn... and, of course, the awe inspiring soon-to-be heroics of Jacoby "Franchise" Brissett.

Also.. LOL @ any pansy thinking they're qualified to even discuss QB play.
LMBAO @ the only team I can think of that's NEVER produced a FIRST string NFL QB.
Deman Dec 10, 4:46 p.m.
Ummm...no it's not. But then again, I deal in reality, unlike you. ;)
But honestly, what difference does it make that this announcement was made before any bowl games were played? NONE.

just a thought...
wonder how many games under .500 unc would be if marquise de sade didn't take over the team for the home stretch?
kato_karma3.1 Dec 10, 4:41 p.m.
next year's football season is already over for the wolpfack, too.
Deman Dec 10, 4:39 p.m.
It was very clear that the best QB on the State roster after last Spring Practice was Brissett so it is no surprise that he is currently the best QB on the roster.
The reason Doeren went out and got Mitchell for this year was because he recognized tha tnone of the current eligible QBs were suited to run his offense. Brissett is and has been in the system for a full year. He should clearly show why he was named starter at Spring Practice...don't you worry.
PS: State's season is officially over, so what difference does it matter that this announcement was made before any bowl games were played? You seem to be stretching to find stuff to complain about...
ITerrifySmitty Dec 10, 4:39 p.m.
Poor, poor, renner.. He was supposed to be "their savior".. And 2nd NFL QB!
LOL @ tDelusional

KT doesnt want to meet you Dec 10, 4:34 p.m.
Hey you've got to have that backup QB on the sidelines to win, right? I think TJ Yates has proven this as a fact.
