as far as the TOB era at NCSU, us Pack fans will just have to be happy with bowl wins, and punking your heels to the tune of 5 up and one down...and he even threw your heels a bone(punt) on the way out...I'm just glad he added to the winning overall NCSU bowl record, while he was here...have you seen the bowl record for your heels???...ugh!

OK - sportsnut, to be objective, let's just compare some facts for 2003 thru 2000 for state and the heels quarterbacks and let the facts speak for themselves:

    NC State (2000 thru 2003) 34 wins & 17 losses (66.7 winning %)13,484 passing yds & 95 TDs (34 ints)-- 4 bowlgames with 3 wins under Philip Rivers (4 years)

    UNC TarHeels (2000 thru 2003) 19 wins & 29 losses (27.1 winning %)8,826 passing yds & 62 TDs (41 ints)-- 1 bowlgame with 1 win under Curry (1 yr)+ Durant(3 yrs)

Oh by the way, NC State won 3 of 4 games versus UNC tarheels over the four years as well.

So realistically based on facts by your definition UNC quarterbacks of the same period are less than "SQUAT" by some 4658 less passing yds, 33 less TDs, 15 less wins, 3 less bowl games and some 39.6% less winning percentage. That's the math!! Sorry to rain on your sour grapes parade but you guys keep it up if it makes you feel better.

It is kind of strange that we had Glennon, RW and Rivers and still never managed to accomphlish much success other than some mediocre bowls that any decent team usually makes w/o this type of talent. Unfortunately with Doeeren as HC it is going to get even worse.
