Gott's THREE STRAIGHT Big Dance trips and 20+ win seasons has sassie feeling "worried".

You are absolutely right Bond. This guy making the statement that Barber plays 30 + minutes a game??? Can you imagine the choas and turnovers/bad shots we will have? Tyler was a LEADER and you cannot teach someone like Barber to be a leader. He is just far too selfiash for that. We will be in bad shape next year for sure. I see my pack brothers acting like we are rebuilding for the next 10 years or more. Why oh why can't we make a quality coaching hire and stop "settling" for all our major sports coaches. I mean look what we set ourselves up for with Doeeren!!!!!!

If he has a successful future and does really well. He will always be State player. They may even honor him with a special day.

Yes... rather UNlike yourself (and most other pansies)... I find solace in REALITY... and FACT based analogies.

Excellent self-therapy...talking yourself through a crisis is an excellent breakthrough in your mental rehabilitation program...I'll note it in your file...

In State's last 7 games, Cat had 22 assists against 7 turnovers... while NOT being a liability on the defensive end. as much as I like Tyler's ability to control the ball/tempo, and distribute... he's NEVER going to be a good "on ball defender"... he'll ALWAYS require weakside help.
Cat (as a FROSH) wasn't nearly as "in control" as Tyler was, but certainly offers a LOT more on the defensive end, and will spend the summer being groomed on "how" to use his unmatched speed.
he's got a much better shot than tyler, and can penetrate far easier... he simply needs to learn "control"... and, that.... (UNlike Tyler's lack of foot speed) is teachABLE.
the biggest loss in his transfer is the DEPTH the Pack will now have at PG... in fact, Gott's going to have to go out and find a serviceable PG to spell Cat at times next year... but, being that it's likely Gott will play him 38 mins a night (pending foul trouble/health), he won't need a lot of mins from his guy.
next year's roster (as of now) is 2G heavy-
but, only sports ONE "scholarship PG".... albeit, a "McD's one".
Gott will likely go out and find himself a serviceable PG this offseason.... I understand Tyler's dilemma and fully accept his desire to go somewhere that he can "be the man".

But what are we going to do w/o a real point guard this year. Cat Barber is only interested in scoring and making himself look good. Tyler was going to be the backbone of the team next year. What little success we were planning is gone now.

Congratulations to sportsack on being 1 for infinity on his predictions regarding NC State. A broken clock is still more accurate on a daily basis.

Once again Hans proves himself the most knowledgeable NCSU fan on these forums.
