LOL.... (s)he also CARRIED the ball, CLEARLY there in the waning moments... everyone could even hear the crowd MOAN at the blatant MISSED call....

ZERO assists and FOUR turnovers (never mind the aforementioned MISSED turnover)....

he SINGLE HANDEDLY COST THEM that game.

it all points back to.... just WHY (s)he wasn't selected as the ACC's PREMIERE PLAYER for the Twenty Fourteen Season....

Oddly quiet in here. That'll happen when karma snatches the W right out from under you (with the help of a Marcus Paige turnover inside 35 seconds).

Marcus Paige's fans are where they belong, over on the UNC boards.

This thread is for wusspackers to celebrate 30 years of mediocrity, and winning your Play-In game just in time for TJ Warren to say, "See Ya!"

There will be no Play-In game for you next season, so enjoy it while you can.

    Bahahahhhahhhahaaaa!!!

the poor thing (crybaby paige) literally COST THEM THE GAME by simply TURNING IT OVER, then WATCHING (as opposed to GETTING BACK ON D, like a good coached player would have) as her opponent went in UNcontested for a lay-up.

Congratulations to sportsack on being 1 for infinity on his predictions regarding NC State. A broken clock is still more accurate on a daily basis.

But what are we going to do w/o a real point guard this year. Cat Barber is only interested in scoring and making himself look good. Tyler was going to be the backbone of the team next year. What little success we were planning is gone now.

In State's last 7 games, Cat had 22 assists against 7 turnovers... while NOT being a liability on the defensive end. as much as I like Tyler's ability to control the ball/tempo, and distribute... he's NEVER going to be a good "on ball defender"... he'll ALWAYS require weakside help.

Cat (as a FROSH) wasn't nearly as "in control" as Tyler was, but certainly offers a LOT more on the defensive end, and will spend the summer being groomed on "how" to use his unmatched speed.

he's got a much better shot than tyler, and can penetrate far easier... he simply needs to learn "control"... and, that.... (UNlike Tyler's lack of foot speed) is teachABLE.

the biggest loss in his transfer is the DEPTH the Pack will now have at PG... in fact, Gott's going to have to go out and find a serviceable PG to spell Cat at times next year... but, being that it's likely Gott will play him 38 mins a night (pending foul trouble/health), he won't need a lot of mins from his guy.

next year's roster (as of now) is 2G heavy-
    Desmond Lee
    Ralston Turner
    Trevor Lacey

but, only sports ONE "scholarship PG".... albeit, a "McD's one".

Gott will likely go out and find himself a serviceable PG this offseason.... I understand Tyler's dilemma and fully accept his desire to go somewhere that he can "be the man".

You are absolutely right Bond. This guy making the statement that Barber plays 30 + minutes a game??? Can you imagine the choas and turnovers/bad shots we will have? Tyler was a LEADER and you cannot teach someone like Barber to be a leader. He is just far too selfiash for that. We will be in bad shape next year for sure. I see my pack brothers acting like we are rebuilding for the next 10 years or more. Why oh why can't we make a quality coaching hire and stop "settling" for all our major sports coaches. I mean look what we set ourselves up for with Doeeren!!!!!!

When you continually celebrate mediocrity as you have demonstrated here, it mean's you rather enjoy it and would like to remain in said mediocrity...so now DelusionalSAC is convinced a successful season is 20 wins and two edge-of-your-seat nailbiting Selection Sundays where you HOPE the committee is kind to you...kinda like a pig enjoys wallowing in it's own IT...

    LOL

so now, "stating that which is FACTUAL" is somehow akin to "celebrating"...???

    Bahahahahaahahahaa.....

pansies simply aren't that bright, and continually PROVE as much, in this very forum.

The ONLY thing I'm "celebrating"... is how much State's hoops team being in great hands (as evidenced by his taking FIVE NEW starters to the BIG DANCE) is so overtly bothering pansies, such as yourself.

You might have something there. Saying that you had to settle for Fay St is "stating that which is factual", but no-one would ever confuse it with "celebrating".

If lil' Tyler "Wee Wee" Lewis had only made that last second shot against Saint Elsewhere....his jersey would have been retired, there would have been a parade, and he would have forever been etched in the hearts of all wusspack nation as "the hero who got us to that Sweet 16!"

Instead.....he'll be riding the bench someplace else, all but forgotten in West Raw-lee.

    Sad.
