State fan, does borrowing an NHL teams arena contribute to the inferiority complex?

While State (like I said and proved before) has priority, the PNC Arena benefits all parties involved, including the Canes. The facilities are by far the best in the area and continue to bring crowds to all events. Why do you think the Dean Dome is going to be updated? It is no where near as nice and luxurious as PNC.

Exactly. If they want their arena that's about on par with Nassau Coliseum, they're welcome to it. Personally, I prefer arenas that are a bit more modern.

And had it not been for money contributed to the project from The Wolfpack Club and the money that our boosters give to have their boxes, that is quite possibly what they would've had.

Pretty embarrassing having to borrow someone else's arena. I'd be humiliated if I was a state fan.

I'd be humiliated to call the dilapidated arena known as the nose dome my team's home court. Can't their boosters afford a better place? I guess not

Man how embarrassing. Thank goodness for the Hurricane's generosity. State fan owes the NHL a huge debt of gratitude.

What your school in Chapel Hill has is terrible parking & access, a third rate arena lacking lux boxes that matter, no club level amenities, no decent ability to hold events other than college b-ball, an ugly pepto interior paint scheme, a hole in the top of its ceiling, laughable seating, no professional team support or funding, and a U that wants to demolish it for something in the country.

... exactly, no professional team hopes of funding either, face it, UNC is on the decline, it's really not a good investment for a pro team, basketball or hockey, certainly not a good locale either.
