He's just not very good with predictions. Rivera....NIT......Mike Glennon starting. In fact, you probably want to bet the opposite direction as him when gambling.

I'd say what helped more than anything was winning games...the victory over pitt, on the road, was as big as they come....having just laid an egg to Miami, at home, the Pack was ripe to just collapse....and they were playing a pitt team still fighting for the ncaa themselves....next they avoided the upset against boston college, then got Miami back in the tourney opener(to win the season series 2-1)...the clincher was, obviously, beating cuse....that put NCSU at a 4 game winning streak, at the premium time to be winning.....smu got left home, even when they beat more top 25 teams than NCSU during the reg season....however, they lost their last 3 games, including the conf tourney opener to a lower seed......hmmmmmmmmmm

these THREE things are literally KILLING these pansies-

1- They've been chanting "NIT! NIT! NIT!" to State fans ever since their pansies FAILED to advance beyond Friday in the ACCT... now, they're standing here with EGG ON THEIR PANSY FACES.
    2. Gott has taken State to the BIG DANCE now in EACH of his three seasons as the helm (something napoleon could NOT do at pastel pansy U).. he's clearly got us as a STAPLE in the big dance... his connections in the basketball world (and particularly ESPN) are clearly PAYING DIVIDENDS for Pack Nation... this REALITY, kills pansies.
    3. 20(+) and COUNTING for THREE years in a row (something napoleon could NOT muster at pastel pansy U).... they (pansies) canNOT handle the REALITY that State has a great coach.... COMPLETELY NEW STARTING FIVE... no problem, MEET ME AT THE BIG DANCE!!!

Here is the NCAA's website bracket. MW 12 NC State v 12 Xavier. Not ESPN, Yahoo, Bleacher Report..the NCAA.

No longer called the play in game. It's called the first four. Everybody should be happy because the more teams the ACC gets in the more money the conference gets to spread amongst ALL the teams, and since we have more teams, the money gets smaller. Honestly, we may have to thank Coach K for NC State getting in. His talk of how the ACC is brutal and the A10 is a joke probably helped more than anything.

Sad deal of cards for the pack. With the NIT they could probably have played 2-3 more games. Now they play one game and lose to Xaiver and go home w/o really being in the tourney at all. And it is an away game where at least they could have played a couple in Raleigh with the NIT. Oh well....the girls will make like the play in game is a huge accomplishment....LOLOLOLOL!!!!
