Smittytool is mad that I caught her pressing the report button on me after he cried like a little girl for months about her bans. In fact, just to make her mad, I'll report her right now.

Three of the "top " prospects that have left the program were guards, that were used to having the ball in their hands a majority of the time in high school. Harrow who was overrated and I think has transferred two more times... Will not be happy unless he is " the man". Second, Tyler Lewis, who I admire greatly is a great floor leader but lacks the size defensively and is not a great scorer would have never started this year if not for Cat struggling like FRESHMAN point guards do. And last but not least, the most talented of the trio, Rodney Purvis. He is definitely the most talented.
I think there are several reasons that Purvis struggled and ended up leaving the pack.

    1. I think that he was used to having the ball most of the time, that changes when you arrive in the ACC.
    2. Great expectations as a freshman.. Did not handle it like TJ did.
3 Not ready to be a leader and had a hard time accepting that.
4 No Patience to be the man. It had to be hard not to produce with all of the high expectations from the fans and the media.

Time will tell if any of this trio will ever meet our expectations. On that note.. Go get it Cat, its your team now..

There only a couple hundred transfers leaving programs every season. All thinking they will find some NBA scouts attention at another school. Most of these kids don't know what they want anyway. Looks like Gott has done O.K. bringing in transfers too(Turner and Lacy). It all works out and If a recruit is worried about it, then go somewhere else.

So I'm going to ask you again special Eddie. Where did I say anything about NC State moral victories. Your response will be mocked worse than your helmet if you can't provide anything.

If their season had moral victories then what was ours? A play in game in the NCAA win and then first round loss.....and Roy continues to pwn Gott. How embarrassing for us state fans that you would even bring up such nonsense!

Sandman continues to embarrass us real state fans thru his ignorance. UNC has 3 top 10 McDs coming in this year and it is trying to make it look like they cannot recruit. I wish we would just post true facts or at least provide a link when something stupid is posted like most that came from Sandman.

Ah, yes, Harrow. There have been quite a few more to run screaming out of here since he fled, have there not? Something is rotten in Denmark, not that it should be a surprise to anyone who has followed Gottfried's antics over the years.

As I've said, don't get too attached. But given your standing in the WPC and the obvious circles you move in, you already know this, yes?

it's rather clear that after Harrow left Gott's program, ALL potential recruits took notice... and as such, he hasn't been able to put together a top 20 class since.....

So, with State supposedly in the mix for Devonte Graham (reported by Whack Pride, of course), let's talk about how high-profile defections look from the recruiting trail. The usual suspects have clamored on and on about how Purvis, Lewis and a slew of others leaving is a good thing for the program. But how does it look from the recruiting trail? When a potential recruit is out there seeing a Purvis or a Lewis run screaming from Raleigh, does it not send up a red flag? I say it's gott to. What say you?
