I'm going to stick my nose in here...ACC Expert posted names of those who fought for our country...I don't care who he is, he honored them by giving us a reason to both remember them, and discuss their bravery. We all should have kept it that way, especially my TAR HEEL brethren. UNC has an excellent Naval ROTC and Naval Science program. They honor members of those programs at games when they are commissioned. This is the wrong thread to be squabbling about posters authnticity. Someone go start another thread about posters you don't believe but the intent of this thread has been soiled by the dung slinging...I would strongly urge my Tar Heel brethren to honor the men and women in our armed forces who have died for this country on this thread as it was originally intended for. Thank you and good night.

Ugh... no, glansbrough, I do not want to meet you and find out how much of a sissy you are. I know they have probably worn you out like an old tube sock by now, but I am quite sure larry, markie, and smitty would again allow you to accompany them to Legends tonight, so long as you agree to keep paying for their appletinis.

It is your life. You could waste it by continuing to attempt to "meet up" with heterosexual men on an internet sports forum, or you could go clubbing with larry, markie, and smitty. Sure, they do not respect you either, but at least they will accept you.

Who are you to judge, glansbrough? Based on your overt submissiveness toward any and all kerliner fans on these forums, along with your shameless and constant seeking of their approval and acceptance, it is obvious you are a sissy both on and off the internet.

I never said any such thing. As a matter of fact I have NEVER mentioned a @#!n thing about Swift, operations, or anyone being killed.

    Toot toot.

I really have to agree with the previous poster, though I am quite unsurprised to see this type of behavior in this place. Little brother syndrome runs deep here, and it apparently extends beyond the sporting world and deep into the personal lives of the usual suspects.

what did I gain??? this and other site like this are a way to let off steam and have a few laughs- what I said about these men I meant with sincerity but now to you. For this to upset you shows that you have an imbalance in your life and a need to fulfill the emptiness that you have to deal with in your drab life. How many flags did you put on grave sites this year. the men that serve in a branch of the service, USMC call there men Marines, ARMY call there men Soldiers, NAVY have sailors, AIR FORCE -airmen. You referred to the men I mentioned as soldiers, they were Marines. Just as men who died in army were soldiers. You also said they were killed in one operation swift -wrong.
You are what we called in the corps a clusterf--k. YOU ARE DISMISSED NOW GO ASK YOUR MOMMY TO FIX YOU BREAKFAST AND BE ON WITH YOUR PATHETIC LIFE.

BTW, went to a retirement ceremony for a college suite mate, Full Bird, at John J. Lejeune Hall. Also to a change of command down on the New River at Lejeune for the same friend who took over a MEU. Both were absolutely monumental in tradition, and I felt tremendously honored as a citizen to be around those men and women, and to witness those events. There are a ton of very smart people in the military, and unfortunately, they have to deal with many idjit politicians.

I have fond memories of my time at Camp Geiger (located off of hwy 17 just outside of Jacksonville- ITR training, engineer school, Recon
was done there. I will not come on here and condemn anyone that says they have served, I will take them at face value if they lie they have to live with it. There is a book called Stolen Valor that details a lot of well known people that lie about service. One tidbit Dan Rather washed out at marine boot camp.

Army... the uncle everyone would want...left Playboys out for me to look at in his room back home at my Grandmas...he might have never gotten away with some of his foolishness in the Marines...wanna say he was a Master Sargent or Sgt. 1st class when he left. You know how stories can take on a life of their own, but his recount of jumping out of the burning chopper from what he said was 50-60 feet just before it hit is the most incredible. I think he was shot twice but no torso hits. In pain constantly, he limps a lot, but he loves to live...used to street race cars at night and took me with him three times, he won all 3...way too cool, my Mom never found out...

I'll have to ask him but he was stationed at Fort Eustis at one point...tore up both knees jumping out of chopper going down (VA has replaced them) but he did get lucky and find a rice paddy to jump into...spent some time on a gunboat too but not sure how long, He has a little hearing out of his left ear and the right is gone due to all the gunfire. Loved a grenade launcher and a shotgun...If you were there his initials were KDS and he loved to blow his pay on fast cars and fast ladies (superbee, corvettes, road runner, blondes/brunettes)...

Pathetic, the ultimate NO CLASSSAC who has called all veterans who served and now have a concealed carry permit "cowards" and "cowardly", and also has called men and women who are serving now who carry weapons off base the same...remember my friend Chuck, Marine Recon who has a CC and who you directly called a coward in here ComradeSAC? Yeah, he took a couple of bullets in Nam and you called him a "coward"......You commenting on anything to do with Service Members is like the KGB envoking a Freedom of Information Act...they will never go together...

As someone who proudly served - I am very suspicious of your claims.
The men you mentioned all died in Operation Swift in Vietnam - all of them are known and purple heart recipients, your claim that you served with them puts you in the close to 70 year old range. Based on your posts I highly doubt you are close to 70.

I would think twice before posting any more BS - this is not a topic you play with on a forum.
