Raleigh, N.C. — North Carolina State guard Lorenzo Brown will have exploratory surgery on his right knee on Tuesday, associate media relations director Dwayne Harrison announced Sunday.

The procedure will try to pinpoint the source of the discomfort in his knee.

There is no timetable on Brown's return, but the school said Sunday an update would be provided after the procedure.

The 6-foot-5 guard average 12.7 points per game last season and lead the Wolfpack with 6.3 assists. Brown led the ACC in steals, averaging 1.8 per game.

Come on TBK, you dont really believe that. With the state of the acc these days, I would assume he would want as many good teams as possible when basketball rolls around. Considering the football will always be atrocious.

Swofford wants as many good teams as possible named Duke and Carolina. Not necessarily in that order.

I hope this is not serious with a long rehab period (have lived through too many recently at UNC)....let's think positively that he will bounce back and be ready to play BB!

Oh, he believes it. Just another UNC conspiracy. Maybe they should get some of the vets over at NC Shate to treat him,or some of the doctors over at Duke Med. Not too much differences between those two.
