Pack Attack Struggles
Jan 10, 2009
NC State held Clemson well below its 81 point average, but the Wolfpack's offensive woes prevented the Wolfpack from mounting any real threat against the Tigers. State shot just 31% as Clemson won 63-51-the Tigers 15th straight home win.
Trevor Booker dominated inside for Clemson. Booker poured in 23 points, adding six rebounds and six blocks, as Clemson pulled away from a 33-33 tie. K. C. Rivers added 11 points with nine rebounds. Courtney Fells was the only State played in double figures. Fells scored ten points.
The win moves Clemson at 2-0, into first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference. For State, this was the conference opener. The Wolfpack is 0-1 in the ACC and 9-5 overall.

Until the fat cat alumni and the A.D. decide to PAY for a bigtime coach, we
will ALWAYS be a mediocre team with one or two NBA players who can't wait to
leave anyway. The recruiting will always be second rate with a losing program.
Sydney was an NBA assistant, NOT a college coach. Hell, make Monte the head
coach! At least he recruited and helped make New Orleans a good program. He actually was a head college coach! When are the powers at be gonna wake up?

Lowe has to be the worst coach - all talk, no action. He couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. Until he stops calling every single play we are going to be predictable, boring, and horrible. Until he stops doing stupid rotations every 3 minutes and bringing in our scrubs off the bench we will be horrible. Until we can actually learn from our mistakes we will be horrible...so basically we will always be horrible until our players look like they care and our coach learns to coach.
