Snow? So?

The snowfall pouring into the Triangle on Tuesday wasn’t expected to affect two major college basketball games in the area Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

N.C. State was expected to bus to Durham Tuesday afternoon for an 8 p.m. sold-out game with Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. That game will be televised on WRAL-TV.

"Fans, teams travel. A lot of different logistics go into putting a game on, each and every game," Mitch Moser, Duke's associate athletic director, said. "So, it would be a pretty big deal to try and reschedule it."

The Clemson Tigers planned to take a charter flight to the Triangle on Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday’s game at North Carolina. That game is at 9 p.m. in the Dean E. Smith Center.

One CIAA game, however, was moved because of snow. The St. Augustine's-Johnson C. Smith doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday in Charlotte has been moved to Thursday. The women's game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
