N.C. State will be the 10th seed in the ACC Tournament after falling to Miami 72-64 Saturday afternoon.
Javi Gonzalez led the Pack in scoring with 19 points, while Ben McCauley added six points and 10 rebounds.
Tracy Smith had 12 points for State before fouling out with less than two minutes to play.
Jack McClinton was the high scorer in the game, finishing the contest with 24 points, including a perfect 16-16 from the free throw line.
The Hurricanes will be the ninth seed in the ACC Tournament - their first game will be at noon on Thursday.
