Good news for NC State during the holiday weekend. Linebacker Nate Irving is out of the hospital.
Wake Med confirms he was released on Thursday. Irving was in a single-car wreck a week ago. Irving suffered a collapsed lung and broken leg in the wreck.
His playing status for next year is still unknown.
