Irving excited for his opportunity to be a Denver Bronco

We usually celebrate Christmas in December, but for former NC State linebacker Nate Irving Christmas came around in April.
"I felt like a kid on Christmas," Irving said when he joined The Insiderson 620 The Buzz about what his feelings when he saw his name pop up on ESPN. "I really can't even find words to describe it," said Irving. Irving was selected early in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
Irving played at NCSU from 2006-2010. He was selected on the Sports Illustrated and Scout.com First Team All-American list for 2010. Irving missed the entire 2009 season with injuries sustained from a horrific car crash.
Irving continues to keep in touch with a number of his former teammates, including former NCSU QB Russell Wilson. Irving said he was not shocked at all by Wilson wanting a release from NC State because he simply said "He (Russell) loves football."
As far as the coming years Irving feels as if the Wolfpack faithful will be in great hands under the direction of junior Mike Glennon. On what Glennon brings to the field, "You won't have the run around aspect, but you will have a very good passer," says Irving.
