Torian Graham was an early target of NC State basketball coach Mark Gottfried who landed the 6-4 guard in May. But Sunday, Graham told Wolfpack coaches that he was decommitting from NC State. "It's nothing personal," Graham told WRAL on Monday. "It was something I had to do."
Graham, who is the 25th ranked overall player in the class of 2012, was a statement recruit for new Wolfpack coach Mark Gottfried. "I feel like I rushed my decision," he explained of his May commitment. "I need to sit down with my family and my brother, who just got to town, to discuss my future. I need to take it slowly this time"
NC State remains on his list. "Oh yes sir," he quickly responded. Graham said Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, UCLA and Baylor are also on his list of schools to explore.

Probably got familiar with the NC State fan base who posts here and realized that it would be a big mistake to get involved with a school with fans who turn on their athletes so quickly and are more involved with trashing other schools than promoting their own.

last time i checked the wolfpack club wasn't looking into sueing the university... but i have to admit... the parking, trips, tutors etc etc etc probably aren't nearly as good at state.
Goat on a pile!
...hoping, wishing and praying that your rival, who constantly clownstomps you, comes crashing down since you know you can't rise to that level.

Another player has to decommit in order to try and make the McDonalds AA team. And you wonder why Duke and UNC has a advantage in recruiting.

they have an advantage in recruiting because they have real basketball programs with real basketball coaches and real basketball success. ncsuX should try that sometime. it's REAL FUN!

McDonalds AA are picked from players that show interest and commit to Duke,UNC,Michigan St. UConn and other teams. Players in the past where taken off of the list after commiting to N.C. State. Things are changing though, when the review in Cheater Hill caries over to Basketball.

that is a total myth. the players are not given that status depending which colleges are recruiting them. that just a part the Inferiority complex that state fans have.
and as for the basketball WISH you have, I just hope you're not getting your lil hopes up too much on that one.
