That is the burning question surrounding the Canes off-season and a question that was not answered at the NHL entry draft. It appears that Seidenberg will be too pricey for the organization to bring back from initial contract talks. The concern comes from the lack of progress made with Erik Cole and Chad LaRose the two priorities for general manager Jim Rutherford this off-season. With the July first deadline rapidly approaching for teams to have the exclusive rights to negotiate with their own free agents, it appears that the Canes UFA's will test the
