Notes:
COLLEGE:Became the first player in NCAA history to pass for at least 8,000 yards and run for another 4,000 while playing with the Missouri Tigers...This past year Smith led the Tigers in rushing with 1,301 yards and posted 16 of the unit's 26 rushing scores, while also converting nearly 60 percent of his pass attempts for another 2,304 yards and 13 scores...Accolades have been piling up for him since he landed in Columbia, as he was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention following a 2004 campaign in which he threw for 2,185 yards and a career-best 17 touchdowns, but his 553 yards rushing on 165 attempts left him with an average of 3.4 yards per carry, the only time he has averaged less than five yards per attempt in his college career...Carried the ball 212 times in 2003 and averaged a stunning 6.6 yards per attempt, en route to 18 touchdowns on the ground, but even though he finished with 60.3 percent completions through the air, his 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions were less than impressive...Finished career with 13,088 yards of total offense and holds the school's career marks for rushing touchdowns (45) and passing scores (56)...Impressive athlete, but doesn't have the accuracy or the pocket presence to be a true quarterback in the NFL.
