Notes:
Arrived at Stanford as one of the top signal-callers coming out of the Golden State, but Edwards never made the sort of impact most had hoped for...Played just seven games this past season, throwing as many interceptions (six) as touchdowns and finished his career with 36 scores and 33 picks over the course of 35 contests...Edwards was a starter in 31 of those games for the Cardinal and became the seventh player in school history to record at least 5,000 passing yards and ranks fourth on the program's career list with 487completions and 865 attempts...Was on the 2006 Davey O'Brian Watch List and hadone of his best games early in the campaign when he threw a career-best four touchdown passes versus San Jose State, all in the first half...From there the rest of the season went down hill for Edwards, with the team failing to score more than 10 points in any one of his appearances...The numbers show that he has ability, but last season did little to enhance his draft status, although his size may provide him with a decent shot at hooking on with a team at the next level in some capacity.
