Horton scored in that contest, so he could be the game's high scorer even without playing on Wednesday.

Description: Nathan Horton (shoulder) will make his Blue Jackets debut Thursday against the Coyotes, according to Jeff Rimer of foxsportsohio.com.
Insight: Columbus signed Horton to a seven-year deal in July but he had to undergo surgery on his shoulder. He had 13 goals and 22 points in 43 regular season games with Boston last season and came up with 19 points (seven goals) in 22 postseason games. The 28-year-old had 45-62 points in every season from 2005-06 to 2010-11 and also has 1,354 SOG and 543 PIM in 591 career games, so he has good fantasy value.

"It looks like we’re on track still and that’s the good news that we wanted. I can’t read the thing, but you can see that it’s healing or healed and I think they got the news that they wanted." Horton is about 30-45 days away from returning.

Description: Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards indicated that newly signed winger Nathan Horton does not have a timetable for return from shoulder surgery, but most expect that to be no sooner than January.
