Description: Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek made 25 saves in a victory over the Blues on Thursday.
Insight: Mrazek allowed a goal with under a minute to go that tied the game for the Blues, but Detroit was able to win in overtime. Mrazek is 7-3-1 with solid numbers backing up Jimmy Howard. If you need a goalie, you could do worse than Mrazek.

Description: Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek made 25 saves in the, 3-1, victory over the Sabres on Tuesday.
Insight: Mrazek allowed just one goal on 26 shots. He is now 6-3-1 this season and will remain the Red Wings starter as long as Jimmy Howard is out.

1/10/2015 9:44:00 PM
Description: Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek made 12 saves in relief of the injured Jimmy Howard.
Insight: Howard had to be taken off on a stretcher due to a groin injury, so Howard owners will want to go grab Mrazek. He was 5-2-1 in eight games coming into Saturday's action.

4/13/2014 4:39:00 PM
Description: Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek (23 saves) held his own Sunday in a 3-0 victory over St. Louis.
Insight: It's his second shutout of the season. Mrazek shouldn't see any action when Detroit begins its postseason run later this week.

11/2/2013 2:41:00 PM
Description: Petr Mrazek will start in goal Saturday at Edmonton after being called up by the Red Wings Friday.
Insight: Detroit's regular backup Jonas Gustavsson was placed on injured reserve due to a sore neck. Mrazek had a 2.33 GAA in 42 games with Grand Rapids of the AHL last season but he has struggled in 2013-14, posting a 3.14 GAA and an .891 SV% in five games. Jimmy Howard should be back in net Monday at Winnipeg.

2/17/2013 3:19:00 PM
Description: The Red Wings will start Petr Mrazek in net Sunday against the Wild.
Insight: Mrazek held St. Louis to one goal in his only start of the season. The 21-year-old could find himself with more playing time if he plays well Sunday, since Jimmy Howard has been a roller coaster in the net this season.
