Description: Boston center Gregory Campbell broke his leg in Wednesday's win over Pittsburgh. SOURCE: Boston Globe
Insight: He's out for the rest of the playoffs. Before the injury, Campbell had seven points (three goals, four assists) in 15 postseason appearances.

Description: Bruins center Gregory Campbell netted two goals Saturday in a series-clinching win over New York.
Insight: Campbell had an impressive series, tallying four points (three goals, one assist) and a +5 rating. Next, the Bruins will face the top-seeded Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals. Campbell was held scoreless in three regular season contests against Pittsburgh.

Description: Boston center Gregory Campbell found the net twice Wednesday in a 5-4 win over New Jersey.
Insight: Campbell has played well over his last two games (two goals, two assists) but before that he hadn't registered a point since mid-March. We're not counting on Campbell to be much of a factor going forward.

2/20/2013 12:21:00 PM
Description: Bruins center Gregory Campbell is questionable for Thursday's game against Tampa Bay with flu-like symptoms.
Insight: He's got a lot of company as at least seven Boston Bruins aren't feeling good. Campbell hasn't proven to be a high value for fantasy owners, scoring less than 20 points last season. Getting just 11 minutes per game of ice time will limit almost anyone.

6/1/2011 12:49:00 PM
Description: NHL senior vice-president Colin Campbell will no longer serve as the NHL's head of discipline, with Brendan Shanahan likely to take over. TSN
Insight: Campbell will retain his role in hockey operations, but his stepping away from discipline matters clears up any perceived conflict of interest that may have arisen with his son Gregory playing for the Boston Bruins. Let's hope that the NHL's future plans for handling discipline spell the end of the arbitrary "wheel of justice."

1/10/2011 11:09:00 PM
Description: Gregory Campbell scored a goal and added two assists in the Bruins' 4-2 win over Pittsburgh on Monday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Campbell scored all three of his points in the final four minutes, when the Bruins overcame a 2-0 deficit to win the game. It's kind of ironic how Campbell, the son of NHL VP Colin Campbell, played his best game of the season during Marc Savard's first game against the Penguins since Matt Cooke's vicious headshot on Savard last season. Cooke was not punished by Mr. Campbell Sr. for the hit on Savard, which many felt was because of a personal vendetta that Campbell had on Savard from when they were both part of the Rangers' organization.

Description: The Boston Bruins have signed Gregory Campbell, Adam McQuaid, Andrew Bodnarchuk, and Jeff LoVecchio to contracts on Thursday. TSN
Insight: Campbell scored 17 points in 60 games for the Panthers last season. He was acquired by the Bruins in the Nathan Horton trade.
