Description: Edmonton left wing David Perron has contributed four goals and five assists in March.
Insight: Perron's goal Tuesday against the Sharks gave him 51 points, a career high. He had 50 with the Blues back in 2008-09.

12/4/2013 9:36:00 AM
Description: David Perron scored both Edmonton goals Tuesday in a 6-2 loss to Phoenix.
Insight: Perron's first season in Edmonton has been a success. In 25 games, he's already generated 22 points in a little over 19 and a half minutes per game. As long as he stays healthy, Perron should continue to be a productive fantasy player.

11/20/2013 9:54:00 AM
Description: Edmonton left wing David Perron had a monster game Tuesday against Columbus.
Insight: He netted two goals while also contributing two assists. Nearly half of Perron's goals this season (three out of seven) have come on the power play. He's already on pace for 29 goals, which would be a career-high.

11/9/2013 3:52:00 PM
Description: Oilers winger David Perron (neck) scored his third goal of the season Saturday in his first game since Oct. 27.
Insight: Perron was on injured reserve due to a neck injury. He has 10 points in 14 games for Edmonton.

11/7/2013 5:38:00 PM
Description: Oilers winger David Perron (neck) might rejoin the club this weekend, according to the Edmonton Journal.
Insight: Edmonton plays a back-to-back Saturday and Sunday to finish up its road trip. Perron last played Oct. 27. The 25-year-old has two goals and nine points in 13 games this season.

2/24/2013 9:45:00 AM
Description: Blues left wing David Perron scored the game-winning goal halfway through the third period Saturday night versus Columbus.
Insight: Perron only played 57 games last season after suffering a concussion the previous season but had 42 points (0.74 ppg). He's playing at a nearly identical pace this season with 13 points in 18 games (0.72 ppg).

12/3/2011 12:16:00 AM
Description: David Perron is expected to return to the Blues' lineup on Saturday against Chicago after missing the past 13 months with a concussion. NHL.com
Insight: Perron appeared to be a scorer on the rise until he took a headshot from Joe Thornton last season. Fantasy owners may want to wait and see how he responds, although Sidney Crosby missed a similar length of time and was able to score four points in his first game back.

9/25/2011 4:36:00 PM
Description: David Perron is set to rejoin the St. Louis Blues on Monday after being sidelined for nearly a year with a concussion. TSN
Insight: Don't assume that Perron will be ready to start the season. However, the fact that he is rejoining the team should mean that he will slowly work himself toward game action and return at some point this season.

8/3/2011 6:37:00 PM
Description: David Perron is not expected to be ready for the start of the season, since he is still dealing with post-concussion symptoms. TSN
Insight: Perron has not played since November 4, when he suffered a blindside hit to the head from Joe Thornton. He would have been a top-6 forward to start the season, meaning that newly acquired veteran forwards Jason Arnott and Jamie Langenbrunner could receive additional icetime. Hopefully Perron is able to return at some point during the 2011-12 season.

3/11/2011 7:36:00 PM
Description: The St. Louis Blues have shut down David Perron for the season because of a concussion. TSN
Insight: Perron was the victim of an open-ice hit from Joe Thornton during a game on November 4 - a hit that Thornton was suspended for. Perron was held to just ten games this season, so he will rest and hope to be ready for next season.

11/6/2010 6:00:00 PM
Description: David Perron will miss Saturday's game against Boston because of dizziness. St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Insight: Perron was hit in the head by Joe Thornton on Thursday, resulting in a two-game suspension in that game. He returned to the game, although he is obviously feeling the effects of the hit.

10/23/2010 12:57:00 AM
Description: David Perron scored two goals in the Blues' 4-2 win over Chicago on Friday. TSN
Insight: Perron also scored two goals on Monday, also against Chicago. All of his goals have come in the last two games.

10/19/2010 9:00:00 AM
Description: Perron scored two goals in a 3-2 OT loss to the Hawks on Monday night.
Insight: Perron now has two goals and one assist in five games so far this year. (RapidDraft.com)

10/18/2010 11:59:00 PM
Description: David Perron scored both Blues' goals in their 3-2 loss to Chicago on Monday. TSN
Insight: The goals were Perron's first two of the season. He had recorded just a single assist in his four previous games.

7/21/2010 2:36:00 PM
Description: The St. Louis Blues have re-signed forward David Perron to a two-year contract worth $4.3 million. TSN
Insight: Perron recorded 47 points (20g-27a) last season, three points shy of his career high the season before. Expect him to compete for a top-6 forward spot on the Blues this season.
