Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen was pulled during Sunday's Game 6 against the Wild.
Insight: He was not sharp, allowing two goals on just 13 shots. Brian Elliott took over and allowed one goal on seven total shots.

4/20/2015 10:46:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen allowed two goals on 23 attempts in the, 3-0, loss to the Wild in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals on Monday.
Insight: The third goal was an empty-netter. Allen has been decent in the series, but Devan Dubnyk has been better for Minnesota. The Wild lead the series, 2-1.

4/7/2015 10:40:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen took a tough loss Tuesday versus Winnipeg.
Insight: Allen allowed just one goal on 31 shots, but the Blues fell 1-0. He is now 21-7-4 overall.

4/5/2015 10:12:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen made 38 saves in the, 2-1, victory over the Blackhawks on Sunday.
Insight: Allen has looked very good in his last three starts, allowing four goals in those three games. Allen is 21-6-4 this season.

4/2/2015 10:53:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen made 17 saves in the, 4-1, victory over the Flames.
Insight: Allen didn't get much work, but he looked good. Allen has now helped the Blues pick up points in four of his last five starts. It is unclear, though, if Allen will get any more starts in St. Louis' last five games.

3/24/2015 9:41:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen allowed two goals during the Saturday's, 3-2, victory over the Penguins.
Insight: Allen hasn't made many starts lately with this start versus Pittsburgh being his fifth this month. Allen has won two of those starts, including this one on Tuesday. He is 19-6-4 this season.

3/22/2015 3:07:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen allowed two goals during Sunday's loss versus Detroit.
Insight: He faced 25 shots on goal and stopped 23 of them. Allen is now 18-7-3 on the season.

3/15/2015 10:03:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen posted a shutout Sunday versus Dallas.
Insight: He stopped all 28 shots on goal and was fantastic all night. Allen kept the Blues in the game, as the score was tied 0-0 heading into third. The Blues went onto win 3-0. Allen is now 18-6-3 on the season.

2/24/2015 10:50:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen was awful in a spot start on Tuesday versus the Canadiens.
Insight: Allen allowed five goals on 23 shots, which is just a .783 save percentage. Prior to Tuesday, Allen had allowed just six goals in all of February. After a strong first half, Allen is just too unpredicatable for fantasy owners to trust.

2/5/2015 9:40:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen posted a shutout Tuesday versus Buffalo.
Insight: He faced 23 shots, and looked comfortable all night long. Allen is now 15-5-2 on the season, yet is still the backup in St. Louis.

1/30/2015 9:47:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen made 26 saves in the shootout victory over the Hurricanes on Friday.
Insight: Allen stopped 26-of-28 shots in regulation and overtime. He improved to 14-5-2 with the victory.

1/13/2015 10:29:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen picked up a much needed victory, but he still didn't play very well.
Insight: Allen hasn't had much playing time lately, but he earned the start Tuesday after he came on in relief for Brian Elliott on Saturday and led St. Louis to a comeback victory. Allen didn't allow a goal until the third period, but he only faced 15 shots in the game, so the save percentage was again below .900.

1/10/2015 10:54:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen relieved starter Brian Elliott and stopped 19-of-20 shots to lead St. Louis back over Carolina on Saturday.
Insight: The Blues won in a shootout, 5-4. Elliott left the game after allowing three goals in the first 13 minutes. Allen posted a .950 save percentage the rest of the game. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely many owners started Allen on Saturday since he didn't start and has been struggling. Perhaps this gets him going again.

Cold1/9/2015 10:28:00 AM
Description: Blues backup goalie Jake Allen has watched the last six games as Brian Elliott has gotten all the work for St. Louis.
Insight: Allen hasn't played since a second straight loss on Dec. 27 and doesn't figure to see much work as long as Elliott, the league-leader in GAA at 1.81, can stay healthy.

12/21/2014 10:43:00 AM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen took the loss in overtime Saturday versus San Jose.
Insight: He made 27 saves on 30 shots, and is now 11-3-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .907 save percentage. Allen should continue to hold down the top goaltending spot in St. Louis at least until Brian Elliott returns.

Hot12/16/2014 10:41:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen continued his hot streak with another victory on Tuesday.
Insight: Since getting pulled for Martin Brodeur on Dec. 6, Allen has won his last three starts. He stopped 21-of-23 shots against the Kings on Tuesday. Allen is 11-3-1 this season.

12/14/2014 10:35:00 AM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen had his best game of the month on Saturday.
Insight: Allen has struggled since Brian Elliott went down with an injury and Martin Brodeur joined the team, so it was nice for him to play well in a victory. Allen made 23 saves on 25 shots as the Blues won, 3-2, in overtime.

12/10/2014 3:38:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen will start on Thursday against the Islanders.
Insight: Martin Brodeur has won the past two games for the Blues, including the last matchup with the Islanders where Allen allowed three goals in the first period. Allen will be looking to rebound Wednesday.

12/6/2014 2:31:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen had another bad start and this time, the Blues replaced him with Martin Brodeur at the beginning of the second period.
Insight: Allen has allowed seven goals in four periods since the Blues signed Brodeur. The future Hall-of-Famer is worth adding in deep leagues although his value is only for the short-term at the moment.

12/3/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Blues goalie Jake Allen had a terrible third period, allowing three goals as St. Louis lost to Chicago, 4-1.
