Blues re-sign Ott

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Blues have re-signed forward Steve Ott to a two-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ott joined the Blues last February in a trade with Buffalo and posted three assists with 37 penalty minutes in 23 regular-season games for the Blues. He added two assists in six playoff games.

The 31-year-old veteran had nine goals and 11 assists to go along with 55 penalty minutes in 59 games for the Sabres before the trade.

Over 11 NHL seasons with St. Louis, Buffalo and Dallas, Ott has 103 goals and 164 assists for 267 points in 696 career games. He's also accumulated 1,355 penalty minutes, sixth-most among active skaters.
