Description: The Columbus Blue Jackets have avoided arbitration with defenseman Anton Stralman and re-signed him to a one-year contract. TSN
Insight: Stralman led Blue Jackets' defensemen with 34 points, including 22 power-play points. He will assume the role of power-play QB for the Jackets, although it would help fantasy owners if he could improve on his (-17) ranking from last season.

Description: The Columbus Blue Jackets and defenseman Anton Stralman are likely headed to arbitration on Wednesday. Columbus Dispatch
Insight: Statistically, Stralman is an interesting player, as he led all Blue Jackets defensemen with 34 points and 22 power-play points. Even though he is probably the Jackets' best option to run their power play, his defensive struggles led to a (-17) last season. The two sides are about $1 million apart, so it will be interesting to see which direction the Blue Jackets go on this one.
