Description: Mason Raymond is expected to return to the Canucks' lineup for Thursday's game against Nashville. Vancouver Province
Insight: Raymond suffered a back injury during the Stanley Cup Final and has not played yet this season. He has stated that he will "never by 100 percent" after the injury, so you may wish to hold off before adding him. He will likely play on either the second or third line.

5/10/2011 12:05:00 AM
Description: Mason Raymond scored a goal in the Canucks' 2-1 win over Nashville in Game 6 on Monday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Raymond's goal was his first of the playoffs in 13 games, although he has posted four assists during that span. His game has improved during the playoffs and he is starting to use his blinding speed more, so expect him to be more of a factor in the Western Conference Final.

3/9/2011 5:45:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond is likely to return to the Canucks' lineup on Thursday against San Jose, while Chris Higgins is likely to make his Canucks' debut on Thursday. Sportsnet
Insight: Raymond missed Tuesday's game against Phoenix with a minor shoulder injury that he suffered on Sunday against Anaheim. Higgins has been sidelined with a finger injury that he incurred while he was still with the Florida Panthers. Jeff Tambellini will likely the odd man out on Thursday.

3/7/2011 1:13:00 AM
Description: Mason Raymond left Sunday's game against Anaheim in the second period with a stinger. Vancouver Province
Insight: If Raymond misses Tuesday's game in Phoenix, the Canucks may need to call up a forward and place Kevin Bieksa on LTIR as a result. Canucks coach Alain Vigneault said that he didn't think the injury was serious, but you may want to look for another option for next week.

3/2/2011 1:51:00 AM
Description: Mason Raymond scored the Canucks' lone regulation goal and also scored in the shootout in the Canucks' 2-1 win over Columbus on Tuesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Prior to this game, Raymond had been mired in a deep slump. He had not scored a goal in his previous 11 games and had scored just two goals in his previous 26 games. Raymond owners will no doubt be relieved with the goal, but they might be best to continue to keep him on the bench until he shows more sustained production.

1/3/2011 12:03:00 AM
Description: Raymond returned to the ice Sunday after missing 10 games with a broken thumb and scored the decisive goal to beat Colorado.
Insight: The goal put Vancouver up 2-0 in the third period before the Avalanche scored late to make it a 2-1 final. It was Raymond's eighth goal of the season and 19th point. (RapidDraft.com)

1/2/2011 1:39:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond is expected to return to the Canucks' lineup on Sunday against Colorado. Sportsnet
Insight: Don't expect Raymond to see major minutes upon his return, since he'll be starting on the fourth line because of the logjam of forwards that are playing well for the Canucks.

12/29/2010 7:22:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond has been cleared to return to the Canucks' lineup, although it is not known whether he will play on Friday against Dallas. Sportsnet
Insight: The Canucks have been rolling with two solid scoring lines right now, so it's not clear how Raymond will fit in once he returns. However, the good news for his fantasy owners is that his wrist appears to be fine.

12/20/2010 1:25:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond will be sidelined for another week or two with a broken thumb. Vancouver Province
Insight: The thumb appears to be slowly healing, although Raymond doesn't want to rush back into the lineup in case there is further damage. Keep him on your bench next week and possibly for the following week as well. He was playing well before the injury (seven points in his last six games).

12/5/2010 2:51:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against St. Louis because of the flu. Vancouver Canucks

12/2/2010 1:03:00 AM
Description: Mason Raymond scored three goals and added an assist with a +2 in the Canucks' 7-2 win over Calgary on Wednesday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Raymond has recorded two hatties in his career, with both of them coming in Calgary (Raymond is from nearby Cochrane, AB). Aside from this four-point showing, Raymond has failed to meet expectations in November, as he came into the game with just one goal in his previous 13 games.

11/2/2010 8:04:00 AM
Description: Raymond recorded an assist on Monday against the Devils.
Insight: Raymond has points in three straight games with a goal and two assists over that span. (RapidDraft.com)

10/17/2010 11:47:00 PM
Description: Mason Raymond scored two goals and added an assist with a +2 in the Canucks' 5-1 win over Carolina on Sunday. Yahoo Sports
Insight: Raymond clearly benefitted from moving onto the top line with the Sedins for this game. If Canucks coach Alain Vigneault continues to use Raymond alongside the Sedins, Raymond should see a significant boost to his fantasy value.
