Cam Newton surely put up some great numbers as a Rookie. He surpassed Peyton Mannings Rookie year. He does have a few records too. This team has finally spent some money to obtain more solid players. They were in every game last season except for 2 games. They won 6 under a new coach. Much better than Fox. I don't think they will win the Super Bowl. I just hope they can make the playoffs. This is our State team, and I will be pulling for them once again.

Real dumb thread. It is rare that the BEST of teams wins the Super Bowl. Usually several teams that were bad become playoff contenders and one or two usually make it. Nobody knows who is going to win it all.

Cam, were he to entertain such a stupid question would laugh in your face before pointing you towards his rookie records.

The Panthers must improve on Defense and Special teams to have a shot at the playoffs. Cam is more than compitent at his position to lead the Panthers to the Super Bowl.

Furthermore, Being a Puke fan does leave you bitter when it comes to football related topics. And comentary by such an unqualified participant in the football world is futile and generally laughed at. Better luck next time.

dukeblue must me a cowgirls fan, or wait he is probably a Panthers fan. Cam haters are in full affect? You haters are just hoping, and wishing that this guy has a terrible year. He will cut down on his int's, and the defense will be better. My God he set all kind of rookie records!!! GO STEELERS!!

I never claimed they would be. One of their players did. Please ask him.

Poor Panther fans. You keep buying into this delusion that CAM will be a great QB (See previous post WHY CAM WILL BE OUT OF FOOTBALL BY 2015). I almost feel sorry for you...almost. Can anyone that looks at this thread give me an intelligent, football reason why the Panthers will "win the Superbowl" this year? I'm all ears.
