of cam: yes!!! and will always be...
scam (as the many he and his pops have pulled) is/was and always will be a worthless sack of lying, cheating, steaming sh!t!!!

    he sux royally...

he needs a nickname... how about the big hoover... or big hooker...
either way: he sux so much it fits!!!

  • jmajor8 Jun 27, 2011

give him a chance. He hasn't played a down yet. I'm sure anything is better than last year.

  • THE NATURE BOY Jun 28, 2011

    i don't think so...
I think this year will be worse than last year....
we should have got some offensive players more ready to produce...
    i.e.: green or jones...
clausen may not be that bad... we should have tried to give him someone to throw too... instead we choose a HUGE project...
I would take OSU's pryor well before newton...
pryor at least had to make a few reads whereas cam made NONE!!! I can't wait until JR leaves/sells/expires... until then panther fans need to realize that we are going to be stuck in mediocrity... he wants to make money... not really to win.... Fans want to win... LISTEN UP JERRY 'jerkhole' RICHARDSON!!!!

It's pretty difficult to "fire" the owner of the organization.

Look on the bright side...he's not Al Davis

  • AlphaTraz Jul 26, 2011

Let the season start and give him a chance. I was not big on Cam either but he is a Panther and let's see what happens.

It all goes back to the firing of Bill Polian and the replacement of him with Mark Richardson. You are kidding me, right? How did that work for us? Bill Polian, arguable the single best GM in football history.... a six time NFL Executive of the Year, sent the Buffalo Bills to four straight Super Bowls, was with the Panthers for 3-4 years, got fired then took Indianapolis to how many straight playoff appearances......? Why did we fire him again, after have some influence in building the most rapidly successful expansion team in the history of the NFL?

Letting Polian move was a pretty bone-headed move. On the whole though, the franchise has been good when the QB played well and poor when he didn't, just like every other NFL franchise. My biggest problem was the draft of Biakabatuka, who had one really good game in his life. Unlike Clausen, who was a 2nd rounder, Newton has serious pressure from day 1. He really needs to perform, or at least progress quickly for the Panthers to improve dramatically.

The last thing Carolina needs is an "entertainer-slash-icon" (Scam's words) at QB. Or any position. I don't have much faith in anything the Panthers put out there...sadly. It'd be nice to have a football team that was worth a peanut.

Good thing I'm a Steelers fan!

Haven't we been to a superbowl with Jerry Richardson being our owner??? Support your team and quit hating.

I agree with you. Anybody can learn something new in sports, just like learning a new job. Some people rather hate than support. When the team starts doing well they jump on the bandwagon like they been on the team the whole time. I'm willing to bet on it that some of these guys that are hating on Cam LOVE Tim Tebow though, I wonder why. He's a good ole boy that doesn't get in trouble. Go Panthers!!

Look on the bright side Panther fans. If football doesn't work out for CNEWTON, he can always go back to Florida and sell laptops in Alachua County. He could start his own business.... Cnewtons Laptops Begone Inc.

Cam Newton made a huge mistake and listened to his money grubbing daddy. He will lead this team to some nice wins. Just give him time, and you shall see. He has all of the skills to do this. He will learn the playbook and move this team.

All I can say is that the Panthers are doing a mighty fine job tonight. Clausen and Newton look like they have been there before. I am happy that the coaches have finally given A. Edwards a chance. He has great speed and some tricky feet. Oh. I am finally loving the NFL again. Go Panthers. This season may turn out to be a really sweet one contrary to what some believe.

Agree Hokie. Edwards was able to show his speed tonight in a role he should have been in all along. These guys that keep thinking he is an NFL QB need to get a dose of reality. I was really happy to see Armanti so productive and electric. How bout that scamper from the kid Pilares from Hawaii! I like his name.

Newton has shown all pundits that he is doing the job. They don't have a defense yet. If had one, they would be at least 500, and above. Simple. Sending Kasey away hurt them badly. It certainly showed up yesterday. He was the difference maker.

right on smitty and hokie. What exactly is he, Cam, not doing? He's making plays when there aren't any, he connecting with receivers, we are actually scoring pts. this year, and we are improving every game. Panthers will win. Just be patient.
