Raleigh's PNC Arena will host second-and third-round basketball games of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced on Monday.

The games will be played on March 21 and 23, 2014, and will mark the 15th time Raleigh has hosted NCAA Tournament games.

"The PNC Arena is a magnificent basketball facility," NC State Director of Athletics Debbie Yow said. "Soon the rest of the nation will know that, as well, when they see the regionals here in Raleigh."

PNC Arena also hosted NCAA Tournament games in 2004 and 2008, and North Carolina has hosted the most tournament games in history.

The NCAA also on Monday announced that second-and third-round action will return to Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena on March 20 and 22, 2015.

Charlotte has hosted 86 tournament games and will be hosting teams for the 22nd time.Other preliminary-round sites for the 2014 tournament included Dayton, Ohio, Orlando, Fla. and Buffalo, N.Y.

On the second weekend of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, regional games will be played in New York City's Madison Square Garden for the first time in 53 years.

Can't wait to see my Devils play an NCAA game in PNC.

I remember way back (1987, to be exact) when the Smith Center played host and it was filled with Duke fans. The Heels did the usual by choking in the late season and ended up playing and losing out on the West Coast.

GO DEVILS!!!

Great. Even if my Pack turns out to be for real, we still get shipped somewhere else. Enjoy our court again, Duke and Carolina.

Agreed, but its ok. Unlike our timid friends in Durham and Chapel Hill, the Pack is not afraid to go on the road. We will prevail; where ever they send us!!

Yeah yeah, they're wusses and we're real men. We're not afraid of what we haven't faced in like . . . forever. Such a privilege it is being us.

Sorry for the negativity. I'm actually excited about our program, but it still pizzes me off. It just seems like the universe is always against us. They couldn't just put it in Greensboro? Seriously!

You should be excited about your team, they'll be road tested by March, so where they play won't be a factor.
