Teams in Jacksonville, Fla., and Oklahoma City will join the North American Soccer League in 2015.
The NASL Board of Governors unanimously agreed Thursday to award franchises to owners in those towns, adding to the league that includes the Carolina RailHawks.
Three new teams will join the nine-team NASL in spring 2014, in Indianapolis, northern Virginia and Ottawa. The Jacksonville and Oklahoma City teams will be added the following season, rounding out the league at 14 teams.
The RailHawks' fall season begins Aug. 3, when they host FC Edmonton at WakeMed Soccer Park.
