NC State incoming freshman guard Anthony 'Cat' Barber injured his left foot playing in a pick-up game, according to reports published Wednesday.

Barber tweeted from his account @catbarber1994 Wednesday that he just wanted to cry.

He followed the tweet with "Smh can't believe mane...." and a picture of his left foot in a boot. The tweet was later deleted.

A source told WRAL News X-rays were negative and Barber "looks to be OK, at least right now."

Barber is ranked among the top point guards in the 2013 class. He totaled 11 points and four assists in the 2013 McDonald's All-American Game in Chicago.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound guard finished his prep career as the all-time leading scorer in his district, totaling 2,097 points.

NC State officials said they had no information to share about his injury.
