Most memorable moment in sports history: So many to list but here’s a group in no particular order. Game 7 of the Canes Stanley Cup clincher, the MANY Final Four trips (17 and counting), the US Open golf tournaments at Pinehurst, the Panthers in Super Bowl 38, Ohio State’s national football championship win over Miami in the Fiesta Bowl, covering LeBron James in high school, a 40-minute visit with Michael Jordan when he was a minor league baseball player, the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony at the White House.
Favorite sports venue: Any Final Four semi-final Saturday or a jam-packed college football stadium with electricity that gives you goose bumps.
If I wasn’t working in sports I would be: Even though it technically would still be in sports, I would love to be a coach.
