Niner: Reasons to be an "ABC fan"

It only takes a few days here in the Triangle to get a taste of college rivalry at its finest. Duke, North Carolina, and NC State have a fan base that can be quite passionate (to put it politely). But lets not forget the fan base “sub-committees.” A social group of fans that have a common rooting interest. Its called the “Anybody But Carolina” Fans. What drives this group of people. I’ll give you….
The Top Nine Reasons to Be an ABC Fan:
9 – The Abundance of Wal-Mart Carolina Fans: Meeting a guy who cheers for North Carolina because it’s the popular thing to do!
8 – Rasheed Wallace: Need I say more.
7 – Rasheed Wallace: First person to make a NINER twice in the same shot.
6 – 8 on 5 Basketball anyone?: I have a good feeling why Dean Smith and Roy Williams spent time on the NCAA Rules Committee.
5 – Makhtar N’Diaye: Actually, there were just as many Tarheel fans that wanted to see him fail.
4 – NIKE: Their home may be Oregon but their bank account is in Chapel Hill.
3 – Michael Jordan: I just want to make sure, he had a pretty good NBA career, right?
2 – Carolina Blue: It’s everywhere you turn!!
