DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Bulls are becoming bilingual.
The baseball club began distribution of Spanish-language pocket schedules throughout the Triangle Wednesday.
The Bulls, in cooperation with the city of Durham, produced 100,000 Spanish schedules in an effort to reach the area's ever-growing Hispanic community.
The pocket schedules are another step taken by the Bulls to connect with their Spanish-speaking fans. During the off-season, the team installed new signage around the ballpark, including signs written in Spanish.
