DURHAM, N.C. — Durham Bulls outfielder Elijah Dukes has been suspended indefinitely until an investigation is complete.
Officials said an incident occurred over the weekend, but no one is saying what happened.
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the parent club of the Durham Bulls, carried out the suspension.
A representative with the Devil Rays said Dukes will not be allowed to work out or play with the team until the investigation is over.
It marks the third time this season that a Durham Bulls player has been in trouble.
