HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A hearing has been delayed for one of the suspects in a shooting that left a local teacher paralyzed.
Authorities said shots were fired into Cynthia Patterson's home in Harnett County last October. One bullet lodged in her back.
James Judd was expected in court Thursday to decide whether he would accept a plea deal. The hearing is now expected to take place on Friday.
Judd is one of six suspects charged in the shooting. Officers said Patterson was not the suspects' intended target.
