NORFOLK, Va. — Bubba Trammell and Jared Sandberg drove inthree runs apiece and Dicky Gonzalez allowed only one hit as Durhamdefeated Norfolk 10-2 Thursday in the International League.
Gonzalez (1-0) struck out five as he held the Tides scoreless insix innings of work.
Jeremy Griffiths (0-1) allowed seven hits in five innings, andthe Bulls had a total of 13 hits.
Trammell and Sandberg each had three hits, including a home runapiece.
The Tides had seven hits, but did not get on the scoreboarduntil the eighth inning.
