Wake Kids Hit Tees To Promote Sportsmanship

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Some Wake County children hit the tees for the first time in the name of sportsmanship.
The First Tee of Wake County is a new nonprofit organization aimed at teaching young people important life skills and values. Its goal is to use golf as a vehicle to teach children about honesty and integrity.
The young golfers took to the greens Wednesday at the Hedingham Golf & Athletic Club in Raleigh.
