CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A UNC-Chapel Hill football player is in the clear after drug charges against him were dismissed.
Wide receiver Adarius Bowman, along with two other players, was charged with marijuana possession last month.
All three were suspended from the team indefinitely.
Bowman, Isaiah Thomas and Fred Sparkman will not likely play in any bowl game that the Tar Heels are invited to.
The district attorney's office would not say why the charges were dismissed against Bowman.
Thomas and Sparkman are expected in court in January.
