FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The fumbling problems that plagued T.A. McLendon during his days at North Carolina State have cost him his first shot at the National Football League.
The Atlanta Falcons released McClendon on Thursday after just three days of training camp.

Web site describes one instance earlier this week in which McClendon pounded the ground with his fist after fumbling in team drills, the second straight day he'd lost the ball.
McClendon, whose college career was plagued by injuries as well as fumbling, left N.C. State after his junior season to become eligible for the NFL draft. However, McClendon was not selected.
