Lady Vols Lead Heels 22-21 at Halftime

Cleveland, Ohio — After a first half marked by hard play and fouls, the Tennessee Lady Vols lead 22-21 over North Carolina in their Final Four matchup late Sunday evening.
Tar Heels standout Ivory Latta spent much of the first half on the bench after quickly racking up three fouls and only scoring 2 points in 11 minutes of play. Rashanda Mccants led scoring for the Heels with nine points, including a 3-pointer. LaToya Pringle and Camille Little also added four points apiece for North Carolina.
Shannon Bobbitt lead scoring in the first half for Tennessee with six points. Nicky Anosike also tipped in five points for the Lady Vols.
The winner of Sunday night’s Final Four matchup will meet Rutgers in the title game, after the Scarlet Knights routed LSU 59-35 in the night’s first game.

Congrats Lady Vols. I could handle the other team members but can not stand to see Latta with that big mouth of hers open all the time. She was a show-boater and I don't like to see that on any team. Men or women's.

I have to agree with RedStatesMan. I am so glad that Latta is a senior and I do not have to watch her cocky attitude again. Latta is one of those people that has the ability but because of her ego and attitude she ruins the women's game. I know that I watch women's games because it is really hard fought basketball. The men's game is all about the dunks, but women's basketball is true ballin'.
Its so funny that all of you State fans hate Carolina more than you love yourselves...
