Durham's game with Richmond was suspended by rain on Saturday in the fourth inning, with the Bulls trailing 11-0. Starter Mitch Talbot failed to retire a batter.
The game will resume on Sunday at 1 as a nine-inning game, and the regularly-scheduled contest will follow as a seven-inning contest after the suspended game is complete. Coverage will begin on 620 the Bull at 1.
Talbot (1-4) faced 10 hitters in the opening inning, allowing seven hits, two walks and a hit batter before giving way to Tony Peguero, who allowed a two-run double to Yunel Escobar to cap the scoring. Talbot was charged with 10 runs. Gregor Blanco homered in the third off Escobar, and had a single, double and homer when rain halted play.
The Bulls entered the game 7.5 behind Richmond for the lead in the South Division. Jason Hammel will start the regular contest against Buddy Carlyle.
