Local High School Athlete Wins Gatorade Award

DURHAM, N.C. — A local high school athlete has gotten some big recognition and has proved she's got game.
Riverside senior Megan Hodge is Gatorade's National Volleyball Player of the Year. Hodge is six-foot 3 inches, and plays all positions on the floor. This year alone, she had 363 kills, 30 blocks and 109 assists.
Hodge joins other elite athletes like Emmett Smith, Peyton Manning and Lisa Leslie to win the national award. She plans to play volleyball at Penn State next year
