RALEIGH — For the sixth year in a row, WRAL-TV and WRAL-DT will offer college basketball fans a chance to watch all 63 games of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
WRAL's 2006 March Madness coverage begins on March 16 at noon and will continue through the NCAA Finals on April 3.
WRAL-TV and WRAL-DT will take advantage of digital television's multiple channel capabilities to broadcast up to 16 tournament games per day between the two local stations. WRAL-TV5 will broadcast the primary game of local interest, while WRAL-DT will use its multiple channel capabilities to simultaneously carry all four games taking place at any given time.

Time Warner Digital Cable
subscribers can watch the games on channels 256, 257, 258 and 259.
Cox Digital Cable
subscribers can view the games on channels 150, 151, 152 and 153.
Digital television technology makes multi-channel broadcasting possible, allowing up to four standard definition channels to be transmitted simultaneously on the digital station. While multicasting, WRAL-DT will be unable to broadcast in high definition. However, early-round tournament games available in high definition can be seen on Time Warner Digital Cable channels 254 or 255.
