By Dane Huffman Jan 3, 2008
Former Duke head coach Ted Roof has been named linebackers coach at Louisville, the school confirmed Thursday.
Roof, a former linebacker at Georgia Tech, was fired at Duke after a 6-45 record.
He had previously been a defensive coordinator at Massachusetts, Western Carolina, Georgia Tech and Duke before becoming the Blue Devils' head coach.
A Louisville spokesman said Roof was scheduled to be at the school on Friday.
