Canes Send Aucoin to Albany

The Carolina Hurricanes have reassigned forward Keith Aucoin to the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League (AHL)., the team announced Wednesday.
The Hurricanes recalled Aucoin, 29, on Jan. 3. At the time of his recall Aucoin led the River Rats with 25 assists and 32 points in 29 games. Aucoin has earned five assists in 24 career NHL games, all with Carolina, since signing with the Hurricanes as a free agent on Aug. 4, 2005.
