N.C. State strong safety DaJuan Morgan, known for his intense play on the field and his celebratory dances after wins, has decided to turn pro, the school confirmed.
Morgan, who wore No. 7 for State, led the Wolfpack in total tackles, with 97.
He also had three intercpetions in addition to his 73 solo tackles.
Morgan, 6 feet 1 and 200 pounds, came to State from Riviera Beach, Fla. He ranked fourth on the team in tackles in 2006 even though he started just one game.
He had a terrific season for State as the Wolfpack started slow and then finished stronger under new coach Tom O'Brien. After wins, he became a favorite of teammates and media with his wild victory celebrations that always drew giggles - and cameras.
Morgan's brother, DeAndre, was a freshman cornerback for State this season.
Morgan is likely to be a mid-round pick.
