UNC's Williams Trips, Gets Cut, Has 5 Stitches
By Gregg Found Jan 11, 2008
UNC associate athletics director for communications Steve Kirschner delivered the news to the media gathered for Roy Williams regular press conference in a state of disbelief at the announcement he was making.
Williams would not be available for the press conference, Kirschner said, because he tripped and fell in his office and needed medical attention.
“He fell in his office and hit his head and has a cut on his head,”
Kirschner said. “He’s having medical attention to address the cut.”
Williams tripped over a cord that connects a remote control to the television in his office. But he rose under his own power but started bleeding and sought medical treatment. He later received five stitches at UNC Student Health.
“I’ve had to do a lot of press conferences in 19 years here,” Kirschner said. “This is the first time I’ve had to cancel one because coach wiped out in his office.”
The fall was not related to the vertigo that had affected Williams earlier.

if you hang with the BIGCHEESE, you will always get an honest opinion of stuff. Its just the way of life. I am sure that because ROY BOY got stiches in his knee that is really going to effect the way he coaches. I bet the WRAL reporter that did this is somehow related to PeeWEE Herman.
Have a great day..GO PACK, GO HEELS>>>>>> who will win
State wins this one going away, by 10+ points.
You heard it here first.
