Kelvin Sampson will not remain as coach at Indiana, according to a report by Indianapolis television station WTHR.
The station is reporting that assistant coach Dan Dakich will take over as interim coach. Dakich is a former Indiana player who slowed Michael Jordan when the Hoosiers beat North Carolina in the 1984 NCAA Tournament.
Sampson has been in trouble at IU because the NCAA has accused him of recruiting violations.
